The dream was hatched while staying at a bed & breakfast in early 2004. Over a glass of wine (or two), with great enthusiasm—and a little naivety—we decided this was something we could do, but better!

The odessey began in earnest when we found the perfect villa, sitting lost and lonely in Wanganui. Relocating the house to our rural retreat, we set about restoring this 1900's villa to create a charming luxury bed and breakfast. The result of this journey being our lovely Riverwoods.
